L.P: Track Response

Bondax- Gold (Snakehips remix)
Genre
Electronic Dance, it's got a repetitive beat. This genre is created for dance- based environments such as a night club. This is the track we have decided on for our music video and we however are not going to film at night as it comes with too many complications, we are therefore planning on filming on a roof at sunrise. This song has a rhythmic pattern with a looping effect which is typical of dance music, also because it's a remix it's more upbeat and is therefore perfect for the urban theme we are going for.

Would this be a lo-fi or hi-fi video?
Snakehips are a small artist so therefore they wouldn't have the budget for the video. Snakehips are a pair of London producers who are in their mid-20s and release their music on their own label. Low fi is used to contrast the term high fidelity which refers to stereo equipment that very accurately reproduces music sound without distortion, however it is a lot more expensive and a small artist like snakehips wouldn't be able to afford this. Therefore their video would be lo-fi.

Darius- Hot Hands
Genre- Electronic Dance, it has a repetitive beat and an electronic rhythm  and also the repetitive lyrics
This artist isn't very well known therefore there wouldn't be a large budget for making the video, it would be a lo-fi video because of this reason
If this song did have a video I would imagine it to have people dancing and lots of cool makeup and costume, this is what we aspire to do in our music video and that's why we have chosen electronic dance as our genre.

  1. I really love the quirkiness of the Clean Bandit song you looked at.

  2. I agree with Danielle that the Clean Bandit video is very unique and artistic. I also think that the 3D title aspect from the Tourist video is very interesting. Maybe we could use something similar to this in out video.
